The wife and daughter of the Plateau State Commissioner of Environment, Usman Bamaiyi, have been abducted after unknown gunmen invaded their premises in the wee hours of Saturday, April 9.
The spokesperson of the Plateau State Police Command, ASP Ubah Gabriel, who confirmed the incident said men of the Command were already on the trail of the abductors to ensure the safe rescue and release of the victims.
It is not certain if the Commissioner was at home during the attack. This sad incident comes barely one week after two pastors were abducted in the area.
