UK based fiery activist and GIOTV Show Host, Maureen Badejo has responded to the spurious allegations from bloggers paid to carry out campaign of calumny against her in regards to the Gofundme she started for the Yoruba Nation to purchase buses for its operations under the leadership of Chief Sunday Igboho.

Two weeks ago Spokesperson for Sunday Igboho, Yomi Koiki of Koiki Media had earlier gotten N2.5m naira donated by GIOTV Show viewers and followers under Maureen Badejo for feeding but he failed to acknowledge and give a feedback on it.

In the video attached during the live broadcast of GIOTV, Maureen called Yomi Koiki to ask him if he received the money on behalf of the Yoruba Nation and Chief Igboho, Koiki then confirmed that he did got the money but he was not instructed to do a video to acknowledge it.

Maureen then told him he should have done the needful of acknowledging that he got the N2.5m and not to wait for her to tell him to do that, but in a shocking and ungrateful manner Koiki said “what is the the big deal that people donated money”.

Badejo was stunned hearing Yomi Koiki saying “what is the big deal that people donated money”. She said this is so unfortunate and it shows the arrogant and entitled mentality of Igboho’s spokesman.

Maureen has now written to Gofundme, the online fund raising platform she used in raising £46,933 pounds to return the monies back to their respective donors.

She said;

“I made the fund raising very transparent for everyone to see and this is why there was separate account for it but you know that jobless, cheap and junk bloggers who have been hired to ridicule themselves would have known my antecedents and consistency in what I do” she added.
