UK based activist and GIOTV host Maureen Badejo has slammed Prophet Felix Alebiosu of Celestial Church of Christ, CCC, Imole Parish located at Nureni Yusuf way, Alagbado, Lagos for organizing a thanksgiving service few weeks after being involved in the death of Kayode Badru, a popular socialite based in Dubai.

Recall, that the horrible incident happened when Prophet Alebiosu was conducting prayers for Badru whose body caught fire in the church and he later died at a hospital in Gbagada, Lagos on Wednesday, May 5, 2021.

Before his death, Kayode Badru had landed in Lagos from Dubai to attend the graduation ceremony of 40 students he gave scholarships to study at Academy For Innovative Art and Technology – ( ACIATECH).

After attending the graduation ceremony, he visited his church on Wednesday for Isegun – (Victory) programme. He was asked to kneel down at the middle of the church and was surrounded with white candles. He also held one candle in his hands.

While kneeling down, a prophet began to spray perfume on his body and within a few minutes, his body was on fire due to his closeness to the candles and strong attraction from the perfume. He was rushed to a hospital in Gbagada, where he eventually died.

Maureen said:-

“Kayode Badru died on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 buried on 21 May, 2021. Prophet Felix Alebiosu, unfortunately organized a thanksgiving service on June 13 , 2021 less than a month when he was released from Panti.

“What kind of thanksgiving was that? is obvious Alebiosu does not feel remorse about the bad incident he is heartless to have organized such and he called musicians and even raised funds”. Maureeen added.
