UK based Nigerian blogger and GIOTV host, Maureen Badejo has reacted as court affirms Late TB Joshua’s wife trustee of the Synagogue Church Of All Nations, SCOAN.
Justice Tijjani Ringim of the Federal High Court, Lagos affirmed Mrs Evelyn Joshua as a trustee of, SCOAN, in line with with the church’s constitution which prescribes a minimum of three trustees for the church.
The judge acknowledged Mrs Joshua as a trustee of the church while ruling on an application brought before the court. The application was filed before the court by concerned and committed members of the church represented by Mr. Kola Kareem and Mrs. Moji Oguntoyinbo against the Incorporated Trustees of SCOAN; the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and Mrs. Evelyn Onyisi Joshua in a Suit No: FHC/L/CP/1109/2021.
The petitioners were represented by Emeka Ekweozor Esq. ; Chris Eme Esq with him E.G Onyejekwulum. Ossazu Owie represented 1st and 2nd Respondents; while O.N Chukwu appeared for the CAC. The respondents through their said Counsel told the court they were not opposed to the petition made under Section 839(6)(B) of the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020 (as Amended).
The church has been in a limbo since the passing on of Prophet TB Joshua who was the founder over the leadership succession in the church.
Maureen said;
“Since the church was closed which is not supposed to be because no man can close the church of God but unfortunately this shows that SCOAN is a church of satan and not of God”.
The host futher asked the following questions:
IS THE CHURCH CLASSED AS A CHARITY OR BUSINESS?
WHAT ARE THESE PEOPLE FIGHTING FOR?
ARE THEY FIGHTING FOR CHRIST?
IS IT FOR THE GLORY OF GOD?
“Are they fighting to continue putting people in bondage because I can’t imagine what they are fighting for maureen asked. She told her viewers that the SAKAMAJE founder TB Joshua didn’t take anyone to court even though he was a deceiver”.
“SCOAN is a shrine and Evelyn that’s fighting for the top post is also fake and she knew that her late husband is a fake man of God and she’s coming out to scam people too”.
Maureen advised people not to be a victim and affliction will never rise again.
