The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 197,773 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated September 9, the NCDC reports 727 new cases with 7 COVID-related deaths.The new cases were reported in the FCT and 17 states – Rivers-257, Lagos-157, Edo-85, Imo-63, FCT-33, Delta-28, Kaduna-27, Benue-17, Akwa Ibom-13, Ekiti-13, Taraba-12, Bayelsa-5, Kano-4, Ogun-4, Oyo-3, Abia-2, Nasarawa-2 and Plateau-2.
According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Ondo, Osun and Sokoto States.GIOTV gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 185,597 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,585.
