The supervisor was taken hostage by unidentified gunmen who had earlier raided the farm of the late Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala, the former governor of Oyo State.
According to the GIOTV, on Saturday night, armed men broke into TDB farms in the Jabata area of the Surulere Local Government area of the state and kidnapped Christopher Bakare.
According to reports, the gunmen have made contact and are seeking a N100m ransom. a source said to the newspaper;“Yes, he has been kidnapped. Those guys speak a smattering of Yoruba. He was kidnapped in the farm. We have been trying to negotiate with them even though the police have been informed.”
