Bandits attacked Sabon Gero community in Millennium City, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, and killed two officials of the Joint Task Force (JTF)
It was also gathered that the bandits also abducted many residents including a pharmacist and his wife.
According to an eyewitness the incident occurred around 1 am on Wednesday, June 29.
“Some of us were still doing some chores when we started hearing gunshots. The bandits broke into people’s houses and took them away, they also took away other residents while they were trying to flee,” she said.
Another source said, “I learned two JTF members were killed in the attack while trying to stop the bandits from kidnapping some residents.”
