Again, Gunmen Kill Vigilante Member In Rivers
A member of a local vigilante in the Ibaa community in the Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State was on Thursday killed by armed hoodlums terrorizing parts of the local government.

The victim, identified as Omaobi Oguzo was the father of a twenty-four-year-old man, Prince Oguzo who was killed on Wednesday morning by the same gunmen.
His son was killed when the gunmen did not find him at home on their arrival on Wednesday.
The General Commander of a local vigilante group in the Emohua Local Government Area, Chief Emeka Wori, who confirmed the incident blamed inhabitants of Ibaa for the “ugly situation” in the community.
Chief Wori alleged that Ibaa people “have refused to disclose the whereabouts of the criminals who carry out these crimes”.
He, however, assured that his team “will do everything possible to ensure that there is no repeat of such experiences” in the community.
The Rivers State police command was yet to comment on the killing at the time of filing this report.
