I Have Nothing Against Sunday Igboho – Maureen Badejo Says
Maureen Badejo, a UK based Nigerian blogger, activist and host of GIOTV shows has said that she has nothing against Chief Sunday Igboho.
She told her viewers and followers that the sum of N2.5million donated on her platform to support Sunday Igboho has been refunded.
In one of her live shows, Maureen placed a phone call to Sunday Igboho’s Spokesman, Yomi Koiki, to publicly confirm that they received the donation of N2.5million from her platform. Maureen clearly stated in the video that the donated amount was intended for “feeding”.
Yomi, however after confirming the receipt of the N2.5million donation from Maureen recklessly said the money “is not a big deal”.
Maureen acknowledged that she has no hatred for Igboho but some unreasonable and irrational bloggers and agitators caused disagreement between them, but she said they should know that they may be age mates but never grace mates.
“I see Igboho as a warrior I won’t say anything about what happened between us, I am going to remain calm to respect my viewers and followers.
“If you want the Yoruba Nation to come and stay some of you should change your character”.
Maureen further stated that those who donated to the feeding money sent to Sunday Igboho which he has refunded should send their proof of donations to her so they can get their money back into their accounts.
