Usman Baba, the Inspector General of Police, has mandated a comprehensive inquiry into the contentious singer Portable.
In a viral video, the artist made a shocking admission that sparked the investigation.
One Million Boys and Ajah Boys, two infamous cult organizations, were founded by Portable, it was announced.
The Lagos gangs are notorious for their violent behavior, which includes homicides, kidnappings, and robberies.
Numerous members were detained by the authorities at various points, while others were listed as sought.
Baba’s order was communicated in a statement released on Monday by the Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi.“The IGP has ordered CP Lagos to investigate the indicting statement and take necessary legal action.
“This directive is premised on the continuous effort to fish out pillars and sponsors of cult groups in order to decimate their activities”, it reads.
