The Lagos State police command has launched an investigation into the assassination of a former Ogun state permanent secretary Engr. Femi Matthew Egbeoluwa and his wife Funmi in their Lagos residence.
They were reportedly killed by unidentified gunmen who broke into their home at 1, Adefolu drive, Allen Avenue Ikeja between last Friday night and early Saturday morning.
Preliminary police investigation has revealed they were killed by their driver and house help after stealing the sum of £5,000 the deceased budgeted for their trip abroad for the husband’s medicals.
