Two persons were on Wednesday confirmed dead in Lagos as a commercial motorcyclist carrying two passengers ran into a bus in the restricted BRT lane.
A third person was reported injured and taken to hospital.
Operators of the BRT franchise, Primero Transport Services, confirmed the incident, saying the crash happened in the Ile-Epo area of Abule Egba on the Lagos mainland.
Primero’s corporate affairs manager Mutiu Yekeen said the incident occurred about 4 am when the BRT bus was going to pick up early morning commuters.
The bus was heading to Abule-Egba from Oshodi, Yekeen said.
On Tuesday an okada rider broke a leg when he ran into a BRT lane, hitting a bus in the Ikeja area of the state.
