Two Brothers Reunite After 33 Years Apart
A 60-year-old man who was celebrating his new age was moved to tears seeing his brother after thirty-three years of being apart.
To commemorate his 60th birthday, his children arranged for his brother, who was living abroad, to come to Nigeria and surprise him on his big day.
One of the children of the celebrant, Deby Oscar, wrote: “This is my dad and his brother. Both moved to different countries in their 20s. Way before Facebook and mobile phones. They both got busy with hustling and life. My dad would always visit Nigeria but he not as much so they would always miss each other. Anyway they come from a very big family so it’s often times hard to coordinate a gathering with all of them. I feel like this is the new reality in Nigeria. With everyone trying to Japa and not many having free access to travel.”
