Residents of Maba area of Ibafo, Asheshe on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State, have accused Deeper Christian Life Ministry of illegally demolishing buildings in the area and assaulting them.
The residents alleged that armed guards, accompanying a bulldozer with the church’s insignia stormed the estate and demolished some buildings in the area.
They added that the guards, who wore masks, also assaulted them.
One of the residents, however insisted that the attackers were guards of the church.
Recall that on the 5th of February, 2021 one Mr Olatunde was interviewed on GIO TV live show with Maureen Badejo where he said Pastor Kumuyi About To Demolish their Church Mount Zion Palace Church on this same land
“Mr Olatunde said they did not receive any letter from Deeper Life Bible Church and even the 24 days that they gave us to move their church away from the land is verbal warning. He do not know the reason why Deeper life told them to leave the land because there is no land dispute, no issues on the land at all”.
Another caller alleged that his house has also been demolished by Pastor Kumuyi without any notice and said he wants Nigerians to intervene on the matter.
Even some of the residents that has their C of O (certificate of occupancy) deeper life church is about to demolish their houses the residents raised curses on Pastor W. F Kumuyi and his members for this evil act.
One of the residents claimed that deeper life church killed his wife and left four children unfortunately deeper did nothing for him and his children after the death of his wife instead they want to render them homeless.
Maureen Badejo asked, is it God that Kumuyi is accumulating these wealth for?.
