PHOTOS: Sick APC Leader, Bola Tinubu Sneaks Into Nigeria To Avoid Physical Rally Planned For Him
Ailing Former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has arrived in Nigeria.
Sources close to the National Leader said Tinubu came in, Friday night, 8 October 2021 to beat his campaign group, SWAGA 2023 to the rally planned for Sunday, 10 October 2023, when they were hoping to receive him with a mother of all rallies that will shake the nation.
“Asiwaju is not disposed to the elaborate rally planned to receive him by his supporters because of the mood of the nation, that’s why he came in quietly, unannounced,” said a source who craves anonymity.
Recall, the former Lagos State Governor had undergone knee surgery at the John Hopkins University Hospital in Maryland, the United States.
The APC chieftain, it was learnt, left the US for the United Kingdom on crutches, a few days after the surgery.
