NCDC Announces 835 New COVID-19 Cases, 10 Deaths
The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 189,715 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated August 26, the NCDC reports 835 new cases with 10 COVID-related deaths.The new cases were reported in the FCT and 19 states – Rivers-263, Lagos-217, Oyo-128, Edo-45, Kwara-42, FCT-37, Ekiti-35, Ogun-13, Akwa Ibom-11, Imo-11, Bayelsa-10, Plateau-7, Delta-4, Kaduna-3, Benue-2, Niger-2, Sokoto-2, Abia-1, Ebonyi-1 and Nasarawa-1.
According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Borno and Kano.
GIOTV gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 169,626 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,298.
