My Naval Officer Husband Beats Me, Threaten To R*pe My Mother, Workers And Says He’ll Kill Me — Nurse Cries Out

A Registered Nurse Ijaola Maria Egbe has cried out to Nigerians and the relevant agencies to save her from her Naval Officer husband who beats her, threatens to r*pe her mother and the workers with her and also says he will kill her.

Mrs Egbe contacted popular UK based Nigerian blogger and activist Maureen Badejo who narrated the ugly incident on her social media platforms in one of her shows.

The victim said her husband has been maltreating her and said as a Naval officer he has gotten permission from the Nigerian Navy to go ahead and kill her.

Below is what she told Badejo that has been going on between her and her Naval officer husband.

“I am IJAOLA MARIA EGBE, a registered nurse, at Ota Ogun state I met the father of my children, MR IJAOLA OLUROTIMI MUYIWA a Nigerian Navy Officer with service number is 8366, I met him as a corporal in 2011,on the 8th February 2011 to be precise, Then I worked in Twins Hospital G.R.A OTA where he met me with a friend Folashade who introduced me to him, and his sister Kike Alakin and he asked me out saying he was a single father then.

“We went to meet his sister who stays in Anglican road Ota, I also met the father of my children’s mother and she said whosoever wants to marry her son most be pregnant before marriage. Towards 2012 I later got pregnant for him and when the pregnancy was 7months we both fixed introduction which was 29th September 2012, but to my greatest surprise he scattered the introduction which his mother and other family members were there and his ex wife was also there I was confused and he told me that the wife is back but he never introduced to me to her, that was how the problem started.

“He left me after giving birth on 4th of December 2012 he left me for six months He came to spray me with insecticide (BAGON) inside the house and I am asthmatic patient. After the suffering I had to leave and move to my own site which is at No 12 Adeniyi Kumuyi street, Eledi where I got a land. The land was SOLD TO ME BY HIGH CHIEF OLUWO DOSUNMU IN 2006. After one year he came back and apologize to me in which I have the voice note and he started staying in my site and coming to my place and I got pregnant for the second child.

“Whenever he comes back he beats me, the beatings became so regular that many of my workers and apprentices left as he was also threatening to rape them. He also threatened to rape my mother. I own a small clinic which he destroyed the apparatus both the bed, chairs and drugs for patients worth of over N1.8milliom
(One million eight hundred thousand). I have been in this bondage for over ten years with the hope that he is going to change. I have been to Human Rights, His work place at NAVAL BASE at Moloni and from there they directed me to Ojo, from Ojo I was told to come to NNS BARAMA ship in Apapa before the boss asked me to report to ota.

“When I got to Ota I was told to leave my own house which I build with my sweat, he also boasts and threatens that no government can arrest him cause he is Naval Officer. He has been doing, the chairman, and chief of Eledi Estate and other landlords knows about it. He beat me up again last Easter Monday 18th of April, me and him was discussing of Osinachi death issue, he hang my neck and sent all my customers away so I had to escape through the exit door to the fence I was naked, It was one of my friend who had to give me cloth to wear he also threatens to kill me and also tells me that the Nigerian Navy gives him right to kill me, his boss also gives him right to kill me. He also said all words that I’m an harlot and infidelity, there was also a time he almost burnt me at home which he poured petrol on my mum and the house, it was a man who stopped him so the fire won’t affect his own property, so he had to stop, he also does not allow my children to sleep cause he has women out there. Am scared of him not molesting my daughter.

“I IJAOLA MARIA EGBE don’t want to see him in my house and in my business places, because he has been creating nuisance in my area and around my business by chasing clients on treatments and patients in my clinic.

Maureen Badejo is now soliciting for Maria she begged everyone to come to her aide for help, she also made it known to her viewers that the so called husband blocked her when she was trying to hear from his side. But unfortunately when Maureen introduced herself the next thing she received from Mr Ijaola Olurotimi Muyiwa was to block her.
