“My Church Pastor Married My Wife” – Man Cries Out, Maureen Badejo Reacts

UK based blogger and GIOTV Show host Maureen Badejo has reacted to the story of a church member, Bright Ben who said his pastor and General Overseer of World Bank Assembly, Church based in Rivers State, Moses Adeeyo ‘snatched’ his wife.

Ben, in a statement on his Facebook page, revealed that he was a full financial member of the church alongside his now estranged wife, Mrs. Tina Bright nee Everest, and they had been attending the church for a while.

According to the man, “My wife ran away from home and to my greatest surprise she is now married to my pastor, who said “Holy Spirit” told him to marry her”.

The host of the show said when you hear one side of a story it is also very important to get to hear from the other side too, to get a balanced view if not one will make a bad judgement which is not wise.

Maureen played video clips where Mr Ben, his separated wife Mrs Adeeyo and her Mother shared their own side of the story.

Mr Bright Ben : “I married my wife legally which includes Church and Traditional wedding our marriage certificate and pictures are still with me, no divorce papers, everything happened suddenly unfortunately the person I was reporting to is the one that married my wife”.

Mrs Adeeyo: “Bright is an irresponsible man Pastor Adeeyo is the one taking good care of our children, paying my debt I was in an abusive marriage for good 11 years. Bright never paid my bride price my children are emotionally traumatized because of the way Bright do abuse me in their presence. He said he is going to add acid to my cream I had to run for my life when he swore to kill me”.

Mother In Law: “They started having problem in their marriage after their white wedding she said one day her daughter took fifty naira to buy soap that she will use to wash her clothes and Ben’s clothes when Ben came back she told him that she took fifty naira from his pocket Ben flared up and called her daughter a “thief”. Bright sent me out of their house when I came to take care of my daughter and her son when she just gave birth. He is an irresponsible man he doent take good care of his family”.

Maureen said she is not in support of an abusive marrige but why did she get married to their pastor? She said that action is very bad when she knows that the pastor is also married, She further said as she is looking at Mrs Adeeyo she is not “normal” at all.

Mareen asked where is the pastors wife? Also why is the pastor not talking?
She said with the name of the church, World Bank Assembly it is obvious that the pastor is a thief.
