Former US first lady Michelle Obama has wowed her online fans with her amazing photo of her younger self during her highschool days.

The mother of two posted a picture of herself in lovely pink satin, polka-dotted dress with a long cut that displayed part of her thigh.

The 56-year-old was standing next to a man that many did not know, from the questions filled in her comment section.

“Throwing it back to my 1982 prom night and this pink satin, polka-dotted dress, If you’re a student or teacher, join the Prom Challenge with When We All Vote and MTV and tell us what your school is doing to register students to vote,” she captioned the photo.

The lucky man was actually her ex-boyfriend David Upchurch during their days at high school in Chigaco.

The former first lady would later part ways with David when she went to college and met another hunk footballer by the name Kevin and they dated for a while.

She was then swept off her feet years later with the one and only 44th president of the United States Barack Obama, who is her beloved husband to date.

Michelle shared the picture to support the Prom Challenge which is going on in the US with the support of MTV which is encouraging students to vote in elections.

She has spoken about her previous lovers in her famous book Becoming and said they used to smoke and ate at Red Lobster during their high school days with teenage lover David.

The famous book recently won her a first-ever Grammy Award after she was named the winner in the Best Spoken Word Album category for the audio version of the book.

She defeated the likes of John Waters and two of the Beastie Boys to the prestigious award.

The book had earlier been named as the best selling book surpassing the previous two million mark.

She also joined husband Barack Obama as a Grammy winner, in the family, after his wins in 2006 and 2008 for his books Dream From My Father and The Audacity of Hope.
