Musilu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, a former chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Lagos branch, and seven others have been ordered by a Federal High Court in Lagos to stop collecting union dues and levies from commercial drivers who are not union members in all motor parks in Lagos State.

Justice Peter Lifu issued the order while granting an ex parte application in a suit filed on his own behalf and on behalf of a new transport union, the Transport Union Society of Nigeria, by lawyer Olukoya Ogungbeje (TUSON).

The seven others are NURTW registered trustees, Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), and registered trustees of the Nigerian Association of Road Transport Owners (NARTO).
