The UK based Nigerian activist and blogger Maureen Badejo has reacted to the condemnation of “Oniduro Mi” song by Evangelist Tope Alabi.
During her ministration, she paused to correct a popular gospel song which is titled “Oniduro mi”.
The song which is in Yoruba language means “God is my pillar” but Tope Alabi however said that it is wrong to say that.
She went further to say that God is not her “Oniduro” but rather he is more than that she expressed her dissatisfaction with the fact that the singer called God that name, saying that it doesn’t make sense. She also made it clear that she is not trying to rubbish the song, but she is just trying to educate people.
This didn’t go down well with many people, as they believed what she did was wrong.
Maureen asked which Holy Spirit told Tope Alabi to keep shut when she wanted to sing the song? Maureen said this is blasphemy against holy spirit.
She played a video clip where Tope Alabi said if you want to do better yahoo yahoo just be praising God, the GIOTV host said where is yahoo yahoo written in the bible because the Oniduro she claimed her creator is not her guarantor is written in the bible.
Maureen further said Tope is talking from abundant of her heart not from Holy Spirit.
