Emmanuel’s academic journey began at Mobil Pegasus School in Eket, Akwa Ibom, and continued at Brookstone Secondary School in Port Harcourt, where he studied from 2012 to 2018. He then pursued a one-year NCUK IFY program at Brookstone before securing three different admission offers in the UK. He chose the University of Salford to study Software Engineering in 2020 and graduated in 2024.

Nkechi attributes her son’s success to his unwavering dedication and hard work. She fondly recalls Emmanuel’s frequent visits to the library, often returning late, and even sleeping there for four consecutive days to meet deadlines. His final project, an innovative app similar to YouTube with calling capabilities, earned him top praise from his supervisors.

Emmanuel’s achievement has earned his mother, Nkechi, a new title – “Mama Engineer.”
Despite the challenges posed by exchange rates, which forced many Nigerian students in the UK to return home without completing their studies, Emmanuel persevered.

Barr. Nkechi expresses her gratitude to God and acknowledges the collective efforts of her and her husband, Engr. Okala Uduma, in supporting their son’s achievement.
