Kidnappers Request N60m Ransom For Ekiti Petrol Dealer

Ruffians of conspicuous oil-based commodities seller in Ekiti State, Alhaji Suleiman Akinbami, are requesting N60m emancipate from his family.

Akinbami was snatched last Sunday night by four shooters at one of his filling stations along Ado-Ijan-Ikare in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti state capital.

A family source who affirmed the most recent improvement to Nigerian Tribune said the ruffians reached them and requested N60m for his delivery.

“You realize our man was emotionally captured on Sunday night and exceptionally late on Tuesday night, we got a call from them inquiring as to whether we are to see him. We begged them to diminish the sum and we are yet to get with them from that point forward.” the source said.

Ekiti Amotekun Corps authority, Brig. General Joe Komolafe (retd) said he didn’t know about the payment interest, adding that his men were following the shooters to protect the person in question.

“Allow me to disclose to you that our workforce our especially in the shrubbery following the ruffians in an offer to protect the person in question. It is a joint working together with police and other security specialists to save him safe,” said Komolafe.

“We are speaking to the individuals from people in general to chip invaluable data on the criminal components in their networks because the crooks are people and not spirits. When we have solid data to follow up on, the work is half done, we are asking our kin to realize that security is the duty of everybody and not that of the security alone.” he added.
