A Nigerian lady has reportedly died after attending the popular church program, Shiloh hosted by Winners Chapel, an X user shares.

The user identified as Lutherk007 claimed the lady was his friend and had gone to the church program and slumped there.

He said she was rushed to the church’s hospital but was rejected and was later taken to another hospital where she was confirmed dead.

“My friend slumped in Shiloh (Winners Chapel) she was rushed to the church hospital, and the hospital requested 1 million before they could attend to her. She died an hour later”

In a new development, the tweep wrote, “First of all I want to make corrections on this post I made yesterday. it wasn’t the church clinic that asked for 1m which I am sorry for, I was only working with what I heard from the family friend but that won’t change the fact that the church clinic also contributed to her death.”

This unfortunate ordeal has sparked a wide range of mixed feelings from online users, as their remarks are shared below:

One X user wrote, “Someone who came to your church to prayer and slum and all they could say is to go home.. that’s not what they are preaching at all.. most people say they are preaching for money and to God be the glory the church is gloriously rich and just a minor case they can’t take charge”

Another wrote, “It’s not hard to spot a big fat lie. How many hospitals will require 1M before even conducting a diagnosis? Even the most expensive hospitals won’t charge you that amount immediately except they already performed a test to know what’s wrong. Secondly, that medical center (if it’s the church medical center you really went to) treats people for free many times and you’re saying there was no attempt to do anything, the first thing was that you guy were charged 1M naira. Spot the lie I would like to be proven wrong”

Another wrote, “You’re lying. That one million naira part is a lie. Sorry about the death of your friend (if true), but you don’t have to lie.“
