UK based blogger and GIOTV host Maureen Badejo has exposed another way money is being siphoned in the Redeemed Christian Church Of God, RCCG,.
She played a video clip where the General Overseer of the church Pastor E. A Adeboye said you must dance forward and drop your tithe in God’s basket because tithing is not something you do secretly but the offerings might be taken where you are and not tithes.
Maureen asked is the basket God’s basket? She said Pastor Adeboye is the president of “sakamajes” (Frauds).
Pastor Adeboye further said ministers tithes should be dropped in a separate basket and recorded separately which must be intact and sent to the National Headquarters.
Maureen Badejo asked again? where is it written in the Bible that Ministers tithes should be separate?
In another video, Pastor Adeboye said “anyone who does not pay tithes will never make heaven, full stop”.
One of the Zonal Pastor in the Church told Maureen that her monthly salary is N10,000 only.
The GIOTV host questioned the difference between the Nigerian politicians and the so called pastors?.
“They are the same because politicians do not take care of the the masses who elected them into office, same as RCCG refused to take care of their pastors who labour to bring members and build the church.
When they don’t take care of them why won’t they steal?.”
Maureen further displayed RCCG remittance sheets and explained how the income in each Parish is shared.
She gave a breakdown of how ministers tithes are shared monthly in RCCG using the church’s remittance sheet.

Regional…. 5%
Province… 15%
Parish….. 21%
“How can pastors take good care of the church with this kind of percentage given to them monthly?.
Who does RCCG headquarters pay their tithes to?
Is it the same God that called Pastor Adeboye into the ministry that also called his wife and children too? who is fooling who?” Maureen Badejo added.
