Gunmen Demand N5m To Release Aba businessman

Gunmen have demanded N5milion to release a businessman in Aba, the Abia State commercial center.

The victim, identified as Emeka, was kidnapped at Umukalika, off Obikabia junction in Obingwa Local Government Area.

It was gathered that the kidnappers first demanded N17million.

Sources said the gunmen abandoned his car near the Ndiolumbe market in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area.

It was learned that the abductors told the family where to locate the car. Life cartridges were found inside it.

The vehicle is said to be with the Police at the Omoba station.
