200 Dead As Nigeria’s Hits 284 New COVID-19 Cases, With Total Now 6677

Nigeria has recorded 284 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 6,677.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known via its Twitter handle on Wednesday.

The NCDC also announced that no fewer than 200 patients have died of coronavirus-related complications in the country.

It said,

“On the 20th of May 2020, 284 new confirmed cases and eight deaths were recorded in Nigeria.

“No new state has reported a case in the last 24 hours.

“Till date, 6677 cases have been confirmed, 1840 cases have been discharged and 200 deaths have been recorded in 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
