Five Suspects, Illicit Drugs Arrested In Delta

The Delta State Police Command’s Crack Squad has arrested five suspected armed robbers in Delta State.

The suspects were arrested in different locations in the state.

Two of the suspects, Felix Aroh ‘m’(43yrs) and Erumu Ogodo ‘m’ (20yrs) were arrested during a raid of a criminal hideout along Jakpa Road in Effurun near Warri.

The Police recovered from them, three (3) containers of Loud, eight (8) wraps of Kolorado hard drugs, four (4) packets of rolling paper, one hundred and forty-three (143) wraps of substance suspected to be Indian hemp, and some sachets of tramadol.

The Police also arrested two other suspects, Musa Abdullahi ‘m'( 25) and Gift Ahemte ‘f’(53yrs) in a criminal hideout in Agbor metropolis.

Recovered from the suspects were 8kg of Indian hemp, valum 5, and swinol drugs.

The Police also arrested one Blessing Nwabuokei ‘f’(32yrs) at Issele-Asagba with 12kg of weed suspected to be Indian hemp and some quantity of cocaine.

The Delta State Police Command led by CP Ari Muhammed Ali confirmed the report in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe.

He said, “Investigations were ongoing.”
