A five-storey hotel still under construction has collapsed in Ibadan, Oyo state’s capital. The building located in the Awosika area of Ibadan, within Ibadan North Local Government Area and close to the Oyo State Government secretariat, collapsed in the early hours of Thursday, September 8.
Rescue teams, consisting of men from the State Fire Service, Federal Road Safety Commission, and other security agencies, have been deployed to the scene and they are searching for workers who are trapped under the rubble.
