UK based activist and GIOTV host Maureen Badejo has reacted to the trend on social media where General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye said don’t kill me before my time.

In a video she played, Pastor Adeboye had pleaded with Nigerians, especially the fraudulent ones, not to allow God to “kill” him before his appointed time.

He made the passionate plea during the commencement of his message early Saturday morning at the 3×3 Auditorium, Redemption Camp, Shimawa, Ogun State, during the Holy Ghost Service of the 2018 Holy Ghost Congress tagged: Glory Ahead.

Adeboye said:-

“Some people manufacture and sell souvenirs like car key holders, bracelets, etc with my picture and that of my wife on them. I did not authorise such project, they are from people who wants to set me up against God by trying to make me share in God’s glory.

“I did not send them. I have nothing to do with them. I am an ordinary man. I am not God what these people are doing can lead to serious trouble, not for them, but for me. God will not share His glory with any man.

“Whether the devil likes it or not, I am not going anywhere yet I appeal to you in the mighty name of Jesus, do not buy it from them; throw them away. If you see those selling them, report them to the police I did not send them,” he pleaded.

The cleric said:-

“A woman bought one from them, gave it to her child and you know children, anything you give to them they think is food, so the child began to eat it and when the mother tried to take it away, she saw that my picture there had opened and underneath my picture was the picture of TB Joshua and you know what that means.

PLEASE, DON’T COOPERATE WITH ANYBODY WHO WANTS TO KILL ME. I AM NOT READY TO DIE YET.

So, if you find anyone selling these things, report them to the police. Do I hear amen to that”. he enthused amid a thunderous Amen.

Maureen Badejo debunked the story by saying Adeboye did not say this after the death of TB Joshua because the video is about six years ago.

“Some bloggers just want to trend using this old video that is why they made it look like a recent video”. She added.
