Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), was denied bail by a federal high court in Abuja.

On Tuesday, June 28, Justice Binta Nyako described the bail application as an abuse of court process, having previously denied it.

Kanu, who was re-arrested on an amended 15-count charge bordering on treasonable felony, now faces only seven charges after the judge struck eight from the list.
