Court Arraigns pastor who demanded N310k from members to prepare them for rapture
The Ekiti State Police Command has filed a lawsuit against Pastor Noah Abraham, alleging that he demanded N310,000 from his church members in preparation for the Rapture.

Yesterday, spokesman Sunday Abutu confirmed the incident.
Abraham is the founder of the state’s Christ High Commission Ministry in Araromi-Ugbesi, Omuo Oke Ekiti, and Ekiti East Local Government Area.
After collecting N310,000 from them, the pastor allegedly camped out dozens of Nigerians in his church for the Rapture.
He was summoned by the police for questioning.
According to multiple reports, the police arraigned him at the
Ado Ekiti Chief Magistrates Court.
Abraham pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Adunni Olanipekun, his counsel, urged the court to grant his client bail. Inspector Johnson Okunade, the police prosecutor, did not object to the application.
Magistrate Titilola Olaolorun granted Abraham bail and remanded the case until May 24 for further proceedings.
Abraham told The ICIR in an exclusive interview that the people he kept in his church were waiting for Jesus.
“When you hear that a whole city descends from heaven and a mighty palace appears in Nigeria here in Ekiti, know that the man speaking here is
one to be contacted because the whole world will hear,” Abraham said.
He stated that he would keep dozens of people in the church as long as the “one who sent” him said so.
While neighbors suspected Abraham’s activities were suspicious, many of his former church members revealed more damning revelations about him in the newspaper’s subsequent investigation.
Following their visit to Abraham’s church in Ekiti, the ICIR team traveled to Kabba, Kogi State, where Abrahan had run a church and had been expelled by the town for operating a’strange’ ministry.
The reporters discovered Abraham had divorced his wife and allegedly eloped with a woman calling herself his daughter in his Ekiti church.
In Kabba, the woman was his choirmaster’s wife.
Abraham’s real wife, his alleged mistress’s husband, Kabba monarchs, and former church members all confirmed the pastor eloped with the mistress – and the Kabba community expelled him.
The ICIR published a report on Sunday detailing Abraham’s strange ministry in Kabba, among other alleged atrocities
