Veteran actor, Chiwetalu Agu, who was tortured, assaulted and arrested by the Nigerian Army on Wednesday, October 7, for adorning an outfit with the Biafran colours on it, has been released.
He was released today October 8, after the leadership of the Actors Guild of Nigeria mediated.
The award winning actor said he was just sharing bread to the poor and did not commit any offense when he was attacked by the overzealous Nigerian soldiers who should be protecting him.
