Gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen have kidnapped the Ekiti State Commissioner for Agriculture, Mr. Folorunso Olabode, an unknown woman and shot dead a councilor in Ilejemeje Local Government Area of the Area.
The incident happened along Iludun – Isan Ekiti road a few hours ago.
The councilor, Tunji Omotoso, who is the Leader of Ilejemeje Local Government Legislative Council was said to be the one driving when they were accosted by the herdsmen, who used cows to block the road. He was shot in the head.
