Scores of people have reportedly been killed at Yelwan Zangam community in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.
It was gathered that houses were also razed during the attack. The latest attack is coming barely one week after 27 travelers were killed in Gada-biyu – Rukuba Road in Jos North Local Government Area.
A resident, Yakubu Bagudu, who confirmed the fresh attack on Wednesday morning, disclosed that more than 30 people were killed, adding that security personnel had been deployed in the area.
However, the casualty figure could not be independently verified as of the time of filing this report. The Plateau State Police Command is yet to give details of the incident.
