FIFA, the world soccer governing body, slapped Nigeria with a fine of 150,000 Swiss Francs (approximately 154,128.75 USD).

FIFA fined Nigeria for the fans’ unruly behavior at the end of the second leg of the Qatar 2022 World Cup play-off between the Super Eagles and the Black Stars of Ghana on March 29 at the Moshood Abiola Stadium.
There were reports of law and order violations following the ill-fated 1-1 draw in which the Black Stars knocked Nigeria out of the Qatar 2022 race on the basis of away goals.

Nigeria will play its next home game without fans, in addition to the 150,000 CHF fine.
