Mr Dokpesi, the founder of DAAR Communications, proprietors of Africa Independent Television and Raypower FM died Monday morning in Abuja.
A source said that Mr Dokpesi died while exercising on the treadmill in his home.
He was aged 75.
He was the founder of AIT/RAYPOWER, a leading media outfit in Nigeria.
GIOTV reports that Dokpesi died on Monday in his Abuja residence.
