Banky W, a popular Nigerian artist and politician, has won the PDP ticket to run for the Eti-Osa House of Representatives constituency in the upcoming 2023 general elections.
On Monday, May 23, he won the party primary election by a huge majority, defeating his opponent by more than 25 votes.
The delegates were so enthralled that they carried the singer around on their shoulders.
Banky W attempted but failed to earn a party ticket in 2019.
