Pastor Stephen Akinola, General Superintendent and founder of Redemption Ministries Worldwide is dead.
He was 68 years old.
His death is coming a day after another popular pastor, Prophet T.B Joshua, founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) died.
Joshua died on Saturday evening after delivering a sermon.
Reports says Akinola underwent a kidney transplant.
Members and sympathizers have besieged the church headquarters in Port Harcourt, Rivers State to pay their last respects.
Former Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria as well as former Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria in Rivers State, Apostle Eugene Ogu confirmed Akinola’s death on Sunday.
