22-Year-old Student Dies In Boyfriend’s Room In Osun State

On Tuesday, 16th of June, a 300 level Mathematics Education student of the Federal University Ekiti State, identified as Faderera Oloyede, was found dead in her boyfriend’s apartment in Osun State. on Tuesday inside the room at Koko, Iree, Osun State.
It was gathered that Faderera went to her boyfriend’s place with her friend who was identified as Kemisola Adewusi, a student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. According to an eye witness, Maliki had prepared rice for his visitors and while eating the food, the deceased suddenly developed stomach ache and started vomiting. She, however, died shortly after all efforts to save her life proved abortive.

“They tried to save her life but she died after complaining of stomach ache,” the witness said.
The Student Union Government President of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Kehinde Raji, who confirmed the incident, disclosed that Maliki fled immediately after the incident occurred. Raji however, disclosed that the police were invited and took the corpse of Faderera away. A spokesperson for the Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola, revealed that her friend, Kemisola had been detained and further investigations are going on.
