A Kaduna-based resident pastor of Mountain of Holiness Living Church, Pastor Donatus Yohanna, has on Saturday, rained curses on those behind the killings of 143 persons in a deadly attack on Zamfara, saying they would surely reap what they have sowed.

He described the killing of 143 residents of the Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara State as one that can never be forgotten.

It was recalled that migrating terrorists loyal to terror kingpin, Bello Turji, who were displaced by fighter jets of the Nigerian Air Force from their enclaves in Fakai forest in Shinkafi Local Government Area, were moving southwards of Zamfara on Wednesday, and Thursday when they descended on the locals, killing over 143, burning houses and valuables.

Reacting to the killings, Pastor Yohanna noted that God’s wrath would soon visit the perpetrators of the evil act, just as he said those who used their hands to kill will never have peace.

He further added that the bandits have demonstrated that, there is no difference between human beings and chickens as they slaughter them without mercy.

Pastor Yohanna, who wondered what might have triggered bandits’ wrath on innocent peasants, said, ” even if the bandits were captured, killed, or repent, already, they have no peace in their lives and their generation will no longer have peace.”

He also called on those behind the scene, the sponsor of bandits in various parts of the country to repent and channel all their resources towards assisting the poor, adding that only then would God help them.
