You Supported Obi Who Promised To Remove Fuel Subsidy – Keyamo Tackles NLC

Former Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, SAN, has taken a swipe at the NLC, stating that they endorsed Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party during the polls, despite saying he (Obi) will remove fuel subsidy if elected.

Recall the country’s new President, Bola Tinubu had during his inaugural speech, said ‘fuel subsidy is gone’.

Keyamo while tackling NLC, shared a video of Obi, where he had said, he would not allow fuel subsidy to remain for one day, if elected president.

Sharing the video, Keyamo wrote; ”All the major parties and candidates agreed that fuel subsidy would go IMMEDIATELY. The Nigeria Labour Congress fully endorsed the candidature of Peter Obi who supported removal of subsidy. They are now saying they told him they were not in support of that. When? On what…”
