A lady, identified as Oluwakemi Akingbehin, 33, is calling out for help as her husband of 10years, identified as Kolawole Akingbehin, 39, has constantly been physically assaulting her.
According to a source, the lady, who is a tailor and the breadwinner of the family, has been a victim of domestic abuse ever since she got married.

“This woman is like a sister to me. She stays at Ogo-Oluwa Street, Agaun, Ile-Ife, Osun State. She has truly suffered in the hands of her husband. They have two kids and she has been the one taking care of the family.

Even the house they both live in, which is the bone of contention, she was the one that built it. She claims the husband wants to kill her to take over the property. .

Kemi has reported her husband to his family several times, and they keep telling her to endure. Even her own family always says the same thing.

The last straw that broke the camel’s back was last night when the husband, in his drunken state, pounced on her because she tried to reach her mother on phone as he has warned her on several occasions never to have any relationship with her family.

He also told her not to work. She was rushed to the hospital by her neighbors and discharged this morning. This lady has reported to the police but nothing has been done yet, and she wants help to walk away from the marriage as she is fed up“ the source said
