A fire outbreak has been reported at the West African Examination Council (WAEC) National Office in Yaba, Lagos.
According to reports, several people are still trapped in the building as the fire rages. The cause of the fire, which broke out in the middle of the high-rise building, leaving many trapped, is yet to be ascertained.
Eyewitnesses report seeing those trapped in the building frantically calling for help through the windows. Some staff were reportedly seen attempting to jump through the window of the building to escape the fire.
