Popular Nollywood actor, Zack Orji, on Friday, left the shores of Nigeria to the United Kingdom, where he is expected to undergo further evaluation after undergoing two brain surgeries in Nigeria.

The news in December that the veteran thespian slumped in his toilet threw the entertainment industry into panic, accompanied with apprehension on his possible survival after being rushed to the National Hospital in Abuja.

The fear was, however, allayed after he successfully had two brain surgeries in the aftermath of the incident.

However, Zack Orji was spotted on Friday at the airport while on his way to the United Kingdom for his post-surgery evaluation.

Recalls that the popular actor was rumoured to have died on Tuesday with the social media awash with anxiety following recent demise of some notable names in the industry.

Giotv had reported that the president of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, denied the Nollywood star’s purported death.

Rollas, in rejecting the trending news, took to his social media handles to announce that “Mr Zack Orji is alive.”

Sighting the star at the airport on his feet on Friday further confirmed his stable health and nullified the assumption of likely danger as he left Nigeria unaided for further medical support.
