UPDATE: I Kílled Her After Giving Me N150, 000 For An Apartment – Estate Agent Arrested For Kílling Benue Varsity Undergraduate

A suspect fingered in the murder of an undergraduate of Benue State University, Ereka Dooshima, whose body was found days after she was declared missing has been arrested by the Benue State Police Command.

GIOTV had reported that the deceased was found dead on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, three days after she went missing. It was gathered that her body was found buried in a shallow grave in a fenced land in a vicinity opposite the school.

Following the circumstances surrounding her death, the police swung into action and in the course of its investigation, arrested an estate agent, Shagbaor Ugosor Japhet, who she gave the sum of N150,000 to for him to help her secure an apartment.

The suspect confessed to killing Dooshima. The suspect said that he used the money to stake a bet and when he couldn’t provide the house or the money, he called the 25-year-old lady and hacked her to death.

“When she arrived at the dark corner of the street where I called her to come, I cut her with a machete several times leading to her death. After killing her, I took her body with her iPhone and dumped her body on the street to make it look like someone else killed her”.

Unfortunately for Shagbaor, the POS machine Dooshima used to make the transfer to him was tracked and the suspect arrested.

Police said he will soon have his day in court.
