A Nigerian UK based Dr. Idee Charles has shared her story of undergoing 3 Caesarean Sections to give birth to her children.
The hard-hitting Dr. Idee Charles who is also an advocate of good healthy living and owns a YouTube page known as the Health Gospel https://m.youtube.com/@TheHealthGospel wrote on her Facebook page:
“To all fathers!!
“I had 3 Caesarean sections to deliver all my 3 children.
“The first was because
The baby was distress after 32 hours of labouring.
“The second was that the baby was not moving again
Had to do emergency C-section.
“Then came the 3rd which I had to volunteer to do a C-section because I had already had 2 surgeries.
“I had epidural anaesthesia- needles in my lower spine to inject medication into the epidural space to numb my lower half for the surgeon to remove the baby. Since then I have suffered back pains and as I grow older the pains are getting worse.
So we are waiting MRI scans again to proceed with management at the meantime I am having physiotherapy.
“But through the process
My children came, I am alive and they are alive.
📌📌Childbirth is a life and dead situation
Any mistake or error – you can die In it or from it.
“So if a woman has gone through this or any route of childbirth to bring children into this world who bear your name. The best thing to do as a man is to honour her and
Love her because she laid down her life to being lives to you.
Dr Charles further said she is:
“Sharing this out here to help a man. Those of you who think someone is after your life. Maybe you need to search inwards.
“Sometimes you are the architect of your misfortune.
And to all my fellow sisters out there
You are strong Queens
Shout out to all beautiful Mothers who went through a lot to bring lives into this world
“I love you all.” She added.
