Real Madrid striker, Karim Benzema, was very critical of Vinicius Junior’s first-half performance against Monchengladbach to Ferland Mendy, while the young attacker stood right by them.

Despite winning the Clasico against Barcelona last weekend, Madrid continued to struggle in the Champions League, as they drew 2-2 with the Bundesliga side.

Marcus Thuram netted twice either side of half time, to give Gladbach a two-goal lead.

But Zinedine Zidane’s men fought back through Benzema and Casemiro to grab one point.

Now footage has emerged showing Benzema absolutely ‘destroying’ Vinicius in the tunnel during the half-time break, speaking in French about the young Brazilian.

“He plays trash brother,” Benzema told Mendy, according to Telefoot’s tunnel cam.

“Don’t play with him. On my mother’s life.”
