Trader Arraigned For Allegedly Biting, Swallowing Woman’s N*pple

An Ikeja Magistrates’ Court has arraigned a 25-year-old trader, Tasuru Abdullahi, on Friday for allegedly biting off a woman’s nipple.

Tasuru Abdullahi whose address was not disclosed was charged with sexual assault and grievous harm.

The Police Prosecutor, Insp Kenrich Nomayo, alleged that the defendant bit off Ms Nkechi Anosike’s nipple and swallowed it.

However, the defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge stating that the allegations were not true.

The police inspector told the court that the defendant committed the offence on Aug. 22 at 2.00 pm on Murhi Street in Oregun, Lagos State.

He also alleged that the defendant sexually assaulted the complainant (Tasuru Abdullahi) before the incident occurred.

According to the inspector, the alleged offence contravened the provisions of sections 245 and 263 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State, 2015.

Magistrate Elizabeth Adeola admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N300,000 with two sureties in like sum.

The Magistrate ordered that the sureties must be gainfully employed and have evidence of two years’ tax payment to the Lagos State Government.

The case was adjourned until Sept. 15 for further mention.
