Toyin Abraham Releases Official Statement, Denies Replacing Funke Akindele As The New NCDC Ambassador

Following the rumours that Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham has been replaced with Funke Akindele as the new NCDC ambassador, the mother of one has released an official press statement to deny this.

According to the 36 year old, she is not an ambassador to NCDC and she does not like the narrative of her trying to take advantage of a bad situation. Toyin has therefore implored bloggers to stop reporting that she is the new ambassador of NCDC because it is not true.

She further disclosed that she appeared in a video campaign to support the fight against Covid-19 and not as an ambassador.

” It has just being brought to my attention that blogs are reporting that I am now NCDC ambassador. Implying that I have been used to replace a senior colleague. That line of thought necessitate I put this out there. I am not an ambassador to NCDC. I do not like the narrative that I am trying to take advantage of a bad situation. Please I support the campaign against Covid-19, I appeared on a video campaign against the pandemic but please let’s not drag anyone down. Thank you.
